.... step into our world of peace & serenity, nestled alongside the banks of the Umkomaas River on the east coast of South Africa. A subtropical stretch of coastline, on the Indian Ocean, known as the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) South Coast. Here you'll find the small town of Umkomaas, ("the river of cow whales") approximatly 40km south of Durban, that forms part of this magnificent coastline.
Boasting spectacular views of the Indian Ocean, our luxurious self catering apartments and houses are fully equipped and serviced. Each sleeps a maximum of four persons and is fully equipped including linen, bath towels, DSTV, wireless internet, microwaves, safes, cooking/braai facilities and 24 hour security.
We offer diving, ski-boat trips, clay-pigeon shooting, horse-riding, fishing alongside the river and mountain biking on our 100 hectare property. Or, perhaps you would rather just relax, unwind and enjoy the peaceful setting.
We are happy to arrange other activities such as deep-sea fishing, bowls and golf which are but a few minutes away.
For the more adventurous holiday maker, why not go diving with the Tiger Shark, Raggies or Blue Tips at our world famous Aliwal Shoal.
Trips to Ushaka Marine World, CrocWorld crocodile farm, Nature Reserves, The Galleria, Pavilion and Gateway Shopping centres as well as airport transfers from King Shaka International Airport are also available by prior arrangement. Helicopter flips around Durban and along the North or South Coast during good weather conditions can be arranged.
